- Instruction Reception: The operator issues movement commands via wireless remote control.
- Calculation & Allocation: The PLC decomposes the trajectory into angle and speed parameters for each wheel set.
- Collaborative Execution: Hydraulic outriggers retract, and wheel sets synchronously pivot to the designated angle and rotate collaboratively.
- Precision Docking: Upon arriving at the workstation, the position is fine-tuned via the lateral movement function. The outriggers extend and lock to complete a stable unloading.
Functional Modules
The efficient operation of this 20-ton Multidirectional Transfer Car originates from its mechanical, hydraulic, and intelligent control systems. Its functions are divided into four modules:
- Omnidirectional Drive Logic: Abandoning traditional single-axle steering, it adopts multi-steer-wheel independent control technology. Each drive wheel set is equipped with an independent power motor and steering motor. The central control system calculates the precise angle and speed required for each wheel in real-time. The vehicle can travel straight, move laterally, drive at a 45° diagonal, and rotate 360° in place without a turning radius.
- Hydraulic Stabilization: To meet the 20-ton load requirement, the Multidirectional Transfer Car is equipped with specialized hydraulic outriggers. These outriggers extend and support vertically to expand the force-bearing area. The hydraulic system automatically adjusts outrigger pressure via sensors to prevent cargo from overturning due to center-of-gravity shifts or ground fluctuations.
- Positioning & Sensing: High-resolution encoders installed on the wheel sets feed real-time speed and position data back to the PLC controller. LiDAR sensors sense surrounding obstacles in real-time, executing deceleration or emergency braking based on preset algorithms to ensure the safety of workshop personnel and cargo.
- Power & Energy Management: The power source is provided by maintenance-free lead-acid batteries, with an inverter driving high-torque AC servo motors.
