The 50 ton battery omnidirectional transfer cart is a heavy-duty electric transport equipment designed for large and complex industrial handling tasks. The customer, Oil and Gas Equipment Industries, is based in Saudi Arabia and specializes in oil and gas energy products and services. They have long faced challenges in handling, lifting, and transporting large storage tanks for oil and natural gas, as these tanks are extremely large in volume and weight, and their tank walls are relatively thin with no suitable lifting points. Traditional lifting and handling methods could easily cause damage to the tank walls.
En 50 ton battery omnidirectional transfer cart we designed and manufactured for them perfectly addresses their handling needs, enabling efficient and safe transportation of large oil and gas storage tanks.
Customer Needs
Customer challenge: Heavy transport
The customer’s challenge was that these tanks for storing oil and natural gas were very large and heavy, making them difficult to move, especially when transferring them inside and outside the workshop. The space was limited, and the workshop environment was complex. Traditional transport methods were no longer safe or efficient for transporting these tanks. There were also some blind spots that cranes could not reach, which further increased the handling difficulty for large storage tanks.
Solución
REMARKABLE proposed a heavy-load 50 ton battery omnidirectional transfer cart solution with a multi-drive system to meet the customer’s requirements.
The trolley is size 8000 × 3000 × 800 mm and can transport tanks ranging from 4000 to 13000 mm in size. With a 50-ton load capacity, the 50 ton battery omnidirectional transfer cart handles cargo weighing between 1 to 50 tons. Additionally, we equipped the omnidirectional transfer cart with a lifting mechanism, providing a 300 mm lift height.
The customer places the storage tank on a pallet for production operations. When transferring to another production process, the 50 ton battery omnidirectional transfer cart maneuvers underneath the pallet, lifts the entire pallet with the storage tank, and transports it safely to the designated location.
