A large domestic motor manufacturer in the new industrial park planning, in urgent need of automation, high load handling equipment to deal with heavy motor production and logistics challenges. With rich experience in the field of heavy-duty intelligent handling, Henan  Remarkable customized 160-ton multi-directional mobile Heavy Duty AGV for it to realize efficient and flexible ultra-heavy-duty transportation and help the customer build a modern intelligent manufacturing factory.

Customer Needs

  • Super load capacity: need to carry large motors and production equipment of 70~160 tons to ensure stable transportation.
  • Fully automated transportation: Adapt to the requirements of modern industrial park, support AGV driverless, reduce manual intervention.
  • Multi-directional flexible movement: limited space in the plant requires the equipment to be able to move sideways, diagonally, rotate in place, and adapt to narrow passages.

Solution

 Remarkable deeply analyzed the layout of the customer’s production line and handling needs, and provided 160 tons of omni-directional super heavy duty AGV transfer carts, which mainly have the following advantages:

Ultra-strong load, stable operation

  • Load capacity of 160 tons, the use of polyurethane covered rubber wheels, to protect the ground and reduce vibration.
  • Low table design (940mm) for easy loading and unloading of heavy duty motors.

Omni-directional intelligent movement, flexible and efficient

  • Tiller wheel steering system, supports forward, traverse, diagonal travel and in-situ 360° rotation, realizing zero turning radius.
  • Adapt to narrow space and improve the utilization of plant space.

Automation + multiple safety protection

  • AGV driverless, can be docked to smart factory system to realize automated logistics.
  • Laser obstacle avoidance + emergency stop button + sound and light alarm, to ensure the safety of man-machine collaboration.
  • Electromagnetic braking can stop accurately under heavy load and prevent skidding.

Summary of project results:

The 160-ton heavy-duty AGV provided by Remarkable successfully helped the customer to realize the efficient and safe transfer of large energy storage motors, which effectively improved the logistics efficiency of the production line and optimized the utilization of plant space. The equipment operates stably and reliably, and adopts laser obstacle avoidance, electromagnetic braking, emergency stop protection and other safety designs to ensure zero collision accidents, which meets the customer’s stringent requirements for intelligence and safety.
